After four years as Chair of EVA England, I am stepping down to focus on a new role, consulting in the EV industry. This was not an easy decision, but the change in circumstances means I want to avoid any perceived conflict of interest distracting from EVA England’s work. I will continue to volunteer my time where I can and use my voice to amplify EVA England’s voice.
As one of the founders of EVA England in 2020, it has been a privilege to help build an organisation powered by the commitment, generosity and determination of its members, volunteers and team. EVA England exists because thousands of drivers believe in a fair, accessible and equitable transition, and it has been an honour to lead that work.
I want to thank our volunteer Board members and our amazing colleagues Vicky and Sandrine, as well as our volunteers, members, and everyone who has contributed their time, expertise and lived experience. We have made real progress together. From strengthening the voice of EV drivers to shaping national conversations on charging, standards and fairness, that progress has only been possible because of the collective effort behind EVA England.
I’m really pleased to welcome our Director Natasha Robinson as interim Chair. In the interim role, she’ll help keep EVA England on a steady footing and support the process of appointing our next permanent Chair.
Thank you again to everyone who has supported me in this role. As always, please reach out to me if you need help, it is a real honour to serve this community. EVA England is in excellent hands, and I look forward to supporting the transition and continuing to contribute where I can.
Best wishes,
Warren Philips
