Leading rapid electric vehicle charging network, InstaVolt, is inviting motorists to a special event later this month at one of the UK’s largest EV charging hubs just 2 minutes off junction 11 of the M40 at Banbury.

The event at InstaVolt’s 32-station Banbury super hub will be held in half term on Friday, 27th October between 11am-4pm, and will give visitors an opportunity to speak with members of the InstaVolt team to learn more about what it’s like to live with driving an electric car.

Guaranteed to get a lot of interest will be Everrati – they redefine iconic and classic cars, re-powering them with a sustainable and futureproofed electric powertrain. Each vehicle is painstakingly restored and updated using state-of-the-art, OEM-grade technologies, including a bespoke electric drivetrain and battery, completing the transition into a new era of motoring. On the day Everrati will bring along the legendary Land Rover Series IIa and Porsche 911 (964).

Guests will also have the opportunity to meet well known car expert influencer and TV presenter, Abigayle André aka She Talks Cars!

Currently there are more than 850,000 EVs on the UK’s roads and the highly successful Banbury hub is at a strategic location for drivers heading north and south on the busy M40. With 32 chargers in total, offering charge speeds up to 160kW, EV drivers can charge up and get back on the road in no time.

In line with PAS1899 specification for accessible charge points, the site includes twelve wider access bays and four fully accessible bays. The four accessible bays have the required 1.2m distancing in front of, and between the chargepoints.

Known locally at Stroud Park, the site is particularly popular because of its facilities which include a Costa Coffee, Miller and Carter Steak House and a Premier Inn.

Adrian Keen, the CEO of InstaVolt, said: “There are still an awful lot of myths surrounding driving electric cars, so we thought we’d take the opportunity to hold an event at our largest super hub in the country to demonstrate how easy it is to join the electric revolution.

“It promises to be an enjoyable day not only for our customers who use our chargers on a regular basis but also as an introduction to EV drivers new to InstaVolt and those who are thinking of making their next car electric. Everyone’s welcome.”

Availability is limited for the event at Banbury super hub so if you’re interested in attending the event (and grab a free Costa coffee),please contact either ben@leepeckmedia.com or frankie@leepeckemedia.com.
