Throughout the day a number of local community groups and businesses will have stalls with advice and help on how to be more energy efficient and to discuss what help you can get to go electric. This includes Cosy Homes in Lancashire, Low Carbon Chamber, Lancashire County Council and SP Electricity North West.
They will also be joined by Community Energy Preston, who are developing locally owned renewable energy generation in Preston and will be raising funds to install solar on Preston College. You’ll be able to learn all about their great project and how you get involved.
