Consumer Experience Workshop

For many EV drivers responding to our EVA England surveys, the public charging experience remains inconsistent and, at times, frustrating. Issues around payment methods, app reliability, unclear pricing, connection speeds and poor signage can create unnecessary barriers, particularly for drivers who rely on public charging or are new to electric vehicles.

In this 90-minute workshop, we will focus on drivers’ experiences of using public chargepoints, exploring what works, what does not, and where improvements are most needed.

Harriet Devonald (Zapmap) and Sara Sloman (Paythru) will share the data and feedback they receive on these issues, and the subsequent discussion will help shape EVA England’s forthcoming drivers’ strategy, grounding it in members’ experiences and priorities.
